Event management club works to execute the events, festivals, seminars, workshops concerts, or conventions and annual fests through meticulous planning. Event clubs involves studying the concepts and themes of the event, identifying its target audience and coordinating the technical aspects followed by mock drills before actually launching the event. The process of planning and coordinating the event also includes budgeting, arrangement, site selection, acquiring necessary permits, coordinating transportation and parking, arranging for speakers or entertainers, arranging decor, event security, catering, coordinating with third party vendors, and emergency plans. Each event is different in its nature so process of planning & execution of each event differs from one to another. Events build social and business relationships and gives its members the opportunity to meet and interact with different members.
An expert talk by “Swati Baedeker” on the topic "Woman Empowerment" organized by Event Management club for entire GSFCU students and staff. Mrs Swati shared her journey from educating a tribal group to forming 500 self-help groups called SAKHI MANDALS working seamlessly across Gujarat and helping village folk, even during floods these self-group are extending their service from health to hygiene and from food to felicitating funds for start-ups for manufacturing, processing and packaging of utility items.
A motivational Ted Talk “Barista on Bike “delivered by Mr. Binny Varghese for entire GSFCU students and staff through the students of BBA.
Co-operation & Jail Minister- Shri Sardar Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Government of Punjab, Shri S. Amarjit Singh Samra, Chairman, Markfed (Ex-Cabinet Minister) Mr. BM Sharma, Shri Sujit Gulati, IAS, MD –GSFC and delegates from GSFC/GATL and GGRC addressed students of GSFCU, the volunteers from Event Management club successfully organized the entire tour at university and the same was vociferously appreciated by the delegation from Markfed.
Event Management Club organized the visit of WIPS, (Women in Public Sector), delegation from IOCL, followed by an interactive session for students organized during the visit followed by open session at university.
TARANG is an annual Fest which is every year organized with full fervour at GSFC University including technical, non-technical and sports events. The entire event is manged by the event Management club meticulously.
